The final paper invites you to draw upon your experience with mindfulness practice over the course of the semester and integrate it, along with your understanding of mindfulness, into your professional (and personal) life.

Here are examples of several drafts from earlier semesters may use as a general guide:

Paper 1
Paper 2
Paper 3

I wish for writing the paper to be a meaningful experience for you, in terms of the process of reflection and expression, and for your paper to be one that you (along with others) may look as a helpful guide to understanding and practicing mindfulness.

I will provide you with feedback on your drafts, and together we can discuss and rework your papers as much as you'd like. There is a craft to writing, and part of our mandate is to develop and hone your skills in this regard. So too, it is not easy, in my experience, to reduce mindfulness to words, and that is another aspect of our work together, and of your charge in writing and refining your paper, and ultimately reducing it to its final form.

I have enjoyed our time together this semester and look forward to reading your papers.
