Writing Assignment
Craft a 1-2 page discussion (allocate space however you choose) that includes:
1. Something you learned in Chapter 4,
2. Something you found interesting in Michael Singer's chapter,
3. Applying the Mindful Living Flow (first introduced in Ch. 1, Fig. 1.4) to a challenging situation that happened in the past week.
4. A question that you would like me to answer in class (based on this week's reading or anything we have discussed).

Mindfulness Practice
—Practice the new Open Monitoring practice on at least three days, beginning with the 6-minute version. Each day thereafter, practice the 6 , 12, or 18 minute version. On the other two days, practice either the Focused Attention or Body Scan Practice, whichever you prefer.

Mindful Space
—Make note of the Mindful Space you attended on your Practice Journal. You can place it in one of the days (if you do less than 6 other mindfulness practices, or write it in beneath the grid.

Creative
—Set the timer for 18 minutes and draw your Snow Globe. Begin with a PMP. If you decide to stop before 18 minutes, stay in your seat and witness the moments unfolding before you.
